Apartments HELAS – Rokytnice nad Jizerou are located in the new recreational center „the Upper Square“ („Horní namesti“) which is the main starting point for all types of winter and summer sports in the area. The recreational center consists of 11 houses with an arcade with shops and services which are built in the Alpine style and forms a complex self-sufficient square.
The facility includes reception, exchange office, restaurant, cafe, sauna, ski and mountain bike hire center, skiing school, several sport-shops, supermarket and a post office. Near the apartments there is a ski bus stop, as well as several restaurants, disco, massage and solarium, bowling, squash, tennis courts, billiard, rafting and possibility of horse riding…
Ski Area Rokytnice nad Jizerou
Right behind the apartments there are 4 ski lifts and ski slopes for children and adults in a length of 800m. Less that 600m from the apartments HELAS there is one of the largest skiing centers of Krkonose Mountains – Skiarea Horní Domky, Lysá hora.
Parking is possible near the apartments for free or at the guarded parking lot which is about 100m away or in the garages for extra charge.

Rokytnice nad Jizerou
Rokytnice nad Jizerou is the largest mountain recreational and tourist center in the western Giant Mountains (Krkonose). The center lies in a picturesque valley surrounded by mountains with coniferous forests at a height above sea level of 650 metres. The dominant features of Rokytnice nad Jizerou are the Studenov Ridge, Mount Lysa and Mount Kotel which looms to a height of 1434 meters above sea level.

The local landscape provides excellent skiing and hiking tracks which are perfectly interconnected with another internationally well known hiking and sports center – Harrachov. THE SKIREGION.CZ offers 6 cableways, 36 lifts, 40 km of ski slopes with capacity of 30.000 prs/hour and over 200 km of hiking tracks.
